WATERPROOFING

1. LEAKAGE OF water sealen is a cancer to that part of structure .when you buy a structure must observe carefully all risky points like kitchen drainage . bathroom all drainage windows where you keep your water storage door & windows at exterior joint point must be seen . observe all electrical points in open area as these are secret point of sealen .

2. Slope of your wet area like laundry  kitchen sink area roof slope all must be friendly with kitchen drainage .

3. It started from the starting of exterior boundary purchase of bricks plinth level first beam .when you are facing a big drainage going with your wall either with exterior wall or main wall of house it must be made fully waterproof with any cost.sometimes gutter is in the house or in your boundary make sure all pipes going with according to slope properly packed & waterproofing  material applied in proper way in right combination .make it a habit to use waterproofing chemical in all drainage every two years .

4. At plinth level make earth must not contact our rcc directly use of chemical or good thickness of polythene is good to have waterproofing. Plinth level wall at least up to 4 ft from ground level mean staring from plinth level upto 4 feet from ground it will give structure a C shape waterproofing protection & it save building from termite due to earth not from air termite or termite from furniture you bought from market without inspecting.

5. In renovation process of structure pu based chemical waterproofing is good thought as it does not need dismentelling of walls or any kind of disturbing thing in house.

6. Natural stone at roof is not a good idea specially at joint of wall & roof slope .with passage of time natural stone give space to water. Mud fasad at roof is not a good idea as mud reacts with sunlight as well as with water also wich create a good opportunity for water leakage & termite .a c shape chemical application is needed for roof area also only 6 inch c on wall is good or enough . and if you have favour with only cement work then make it regular practice to do it at least 2 years interval but keeping eye on cracks every season of rain .

7. My view is this if you have a rcc lanter on roof instead of doing PCC use waterproofing chemical PU based on roof with slope in mind & apply heat resistant tile on this.or exterior epoxy ig good idea .

8 in starting of construction use authentic waterproofing material with cement while construction & termite chemical with this .for wood use tarpon with anti  termite chemical also.
